Martin is the Creative Tech Manager at ZUMIX, where he combines his passion for music and technology with hands-on leadership to assist young people in bringing their creative visions to life. His journey began with a commitment to excellence in sound and performance, developed over years as a multi-instrumentalist and producer.
In addition to his work at ZUMIX, Martin also serves as Director of Music and Technology at Bethel AME Church, where he led transformative upgrades to the AV and livestream systems and supports a talented team of worship and tech professionals. A 2014 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Martin is dedicated to building collaborative creative spaces where artists and technicians thrive.
Primarily a keyboardist and bassist, Martin is constantly exploring new possibilities in live and studio environments. Outside of work, he’s a husband and father, and he enjoys sim racing as well as playing and following basketball, which has been a lifelong passion.

Are you Interested in music production and collaborating with artists? In this program, we’ll use 90s hip hop as a lens to teach sampling, drum programming, and arrangement, while bringing in the music that you love. We’ll learn to flip samples, build drum patterns, and shape full songs from short loops. Open to all levels, whether you’re building your skills in Ableton, a favorite DAW of producers, or starting from scratch.
