East Boston Latin Music & Dance Festival 2025

State Senator Lydia Edwards presents the 4th annual East Boston Latin Music and Dance Festival, “Sonidos de la Gente”, in partnership with ZUMIX, VROCC, East Boston Main Streets, and the City of Boston.
This annual celebration honors the strength, joy, and diversity of East Boston’s vibrant Latin American communities through music, dance, food, and free family-friendly fun.
This year’s festival will feature musical acts, DJs and dynamic dance performances, from folkloric and ballet to tango, hip hop, Peruvian rhythms, Brazilian bolero, and more.
With non-stop performances on two stages, local live music will be provided by Grupo Gozarsa, La Rockola, Grupo Chevere, Manuela Sanchez Goubert, Porque Puma? (ZUMIX’s Latin Ensemble), Leo Lopez, and Lazaro Ezequiel Salguero Morales. Dancers will include Salsa y Control (Salsa), Bajucol folkloric dancers, Pumawari Peruvian ensemble, and Veronica Robles Cultural Center’s youth dancers.
Many of East Boston’s celebrated local restaurants will offer free tastings, including Bono, La Hacienda, Los Alebrijes, Boba Tea, Popsicools, Brasil Brazil, Chocolaffee, and more. The festival will also showcase local artists offering face painting, handcrafted jewelry, vintage fashion, caricatures, and a vibrant array of visual art.
East Boston Memorial Park is located at 143 Porter St, Boston, MA 02128, adjacent to the MBTA Airport Station on the Blue Line and the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation, including the MBTA East Boston ferry.
