From summer guitar lessons in a Maverick Square apartment to multiple award-winning programs running year-round in our beautifully renovated Firehouse in East Boston, ZUMIX has created a space where creativity, belonging, and opportunity thrive. Here, young people can discover their artistic gifts, and develop as leaders, artists, people, and citizens.
Our programs in music and creative technology offer students the chance to learn new skills, form lasting relationships with staff members and each other, and begin to envision the lives they want to build. Over three and a half decades, we’ve grown in size and scope, and gained a greater understanding of how to serve, empower and support the young people whose lives are impacted by our work. We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone, and excited for what the next three decades (and beyond!) will bring.
