This is your opportunity to be a radio star! Radio classes train participants to host their own live radio broadcasts and produce their own radio stories. ZUMIX Radio, our online radio station, also serves to connect us to our community and invites participation by community members.

If you love music and you love to talk this is the program to check out. You will go live on the air with your own radio show. We will teach you how to run equipment, structure a program, and how to use your voice effectively over the airwaves. Have you ever met a person, formed an opinion about them, and then later learned something about them that totally changed the way you see them or yourself? Everyone has stories! What are yours? In Transmit, we explore current media and what it means to be a media-maker and a story-teller. You will be trained to conduct interviews, edit content, and record on state-of-the-art equipment. All you need is a curiosity about the world around you and willingness to ask questions. What is your story? (Offered in spring, summer, & fall)
