SUMMARY:Halloween Youth on Stage Concert
DESCRIPTION:Next Generation Concerts hosts a Halloween Youth On Stage at the Fire House at Zumix in East Boston\, catered by Code 1 BBQ. This family event will be filled with talented young singers and musicians. A large portion of the proceeds will be given to the Fogo Project\, whose mission is to provide access to instruments and creative tech to young people on Fogo Island. \nHalloween Youth On Stage will showcase young singers and musicians from schools all over Massachusetts. The goal of this event is to offer a stage for them to perform and help build a network of like minded youth on similar paths while raising money for The Fogo Project. This is Halloween themed event\, so dressing up is encouraged! \nThe Fogo Project began in 2018\, after long time Zumix participant Corey SantOne Depina visited the island and noticed young folks had limited access to instruments. The program has given over 250 donated instruments. A large portion of the proceeds to this event will directly help fund The Fogo Project. More information here. \nCode 1 BBQ will be catering the event with delicious menu options for purchase. Code 1 BBQ is run by Sean and Erica Marchant. Sean is an Airforce veteran and a dedicated\, hardworking husband and father. Erica is an author\, entrepreneur\, chef and mother who is passionate about creating made from scratch healthy food options for her family. During the pandemic\, both Sean and Erica became serious about making their enthusiasm for quality food into a business. This year they have reached great milestones\, getting ready to launch their takeout store front in Wilmington\, MA. Check them out here.
